Adventure Series: Zip Lining in Honduras

The Details:

We left our Carnival cruise ship early in the morning and took a nauseating boat ride to shore. Once there, we rode a transport to a beautiful spot to do a series of fun zip lines. These weren’t the super modern, ultra safe ones that limit your speed and automatically brake for you. These were the kind that required you to wear gloves and manually stop by pressing down (with an open palm) on the line to avoid crashing into a tree or unsuspecting fellow zip liner. The thing is, that made it that much more fun.

What I thought about it:

I absolutely loved it. I’ve been fortunate to zip line in a bunch of different places, but this was one of my favorite. If you can find a highly rated zip lining location, you should always go for it. You get unique views, travel at high speeds, and always have a good time. After zip lining, we went to a beautiful, quiet beach before wrapping up a great day.

On this cruise, we also spent some time in Belize.
